Thank you for choosing The Porch Stylist for your seasonal porch styling. By booking our services or purchasing a package through our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, booking a porch styling service, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. Any updates will be posted on this page.

Our Services

We provide seasonal porch styling and pumpkin décor services for residential properties in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas, subject to availability.

Our services may include:

  • Curated pumpkin and seasonal décor arrangements

  • Delivery and placement of pumpkins and seasonal décor

  • Styling of porches, steps, entryways, and other approved outdoor areas

  • Seasonal installation and, where applicable, removal of décor

  • Custom styling and add-ons upon request

Each package includes the specific items described on its corresponding package page. Because pumpkins, gourds, flowers, and other natural materials vary by season and availability, exact colors, shapes, varieties, and individual pieces may vary from the photographs shown on our website.

We will make every effort to maintain the overall aesthetic, quantity, quality, and value of the selected package.

Booking & Payment

  • Eligibility: Customers must be at least 18 years old to place an order.

  • Booking: Orders and bookings are made through our website. A booking is not considered confirmed until payment has been successfully received and confirmation has been provided.

  • Payment: Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

  • Pricing: All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Applicable taxes and fees will be displayed at checkout.

  • Payment Methods: We accept payment methods available through our website's payment processor.

  • Custom Requests: Custom arrangements or additional décor may be subject to additional charges, which will be communicated and approved before the service is provided.

Styling & Installation

Our styling team will arrange the pumpkins and seasonal décor according to the selected package and the characteristics of your property.

Because every porch is different, the final arrangement may be adjusted to accommodate:

  • Porch size and shape

  • Steps and walkways

  • Existing landscaping

  • Doors and entrances

  • Safety and accessibility requirements

  • Available space

We reserve the right to make reasonable styling adjustments while maintaining the overall look and value of the package purchased.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the porch and designated styling area are accessible and reasonably clean and ready for installation.

Property Access

By booking our services, you authorize us to access the exterior areas of your property necessary to complete the installation.

Please notify us in advance of any:

  • Locked gates

  • Access restrictions

  • Security systems

  • Pets

  • Special instructions

  • Areas that should not be accessed

We are not responsible for delays or additional charges resulting from inability to access the property as arranged.

Natural Materials & Variations

Pumpkins, gourds, flowers, hay, foliage, and other seasonal materials are natural products. Their size, shape, color, texture, and appearance naturally vary.

Minor imperfections are considered normal and are not considered defects.

We may substitute individual pumpkins, flowers, gourds, or other seasonal materials when a particular variety is unavailable. Any substitution will be made with an item of comparable appearance, quality, and value.

Weather & Outdoor Conditions

Our designs are created for outdoor seasonal use. However, pumpkins, flowers, hay, and other natural materials may be affected by weather and environmental conditions, including rain, wind, extreme temperatures, frost, and prolonged moisture.

We are not responsible for natural deterioration or damage caused by weather, animals, insects, or conditions outside our reasonable control after installation.

If severe weather creates unsafe conditions for installation, we may need to reschedule the service. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible.

Customer Care & Responsibility

Once the installation has been completed, the customer is responsible for reasonable care of the display.

Please avoid:

  • Moving or rearranging the display

  • Walking or placing objects on pumpkins or décor

  • Allowing pets to damage the arrangement

  • Storing pumpkins in conditions that accelerate spoilage

  • Intentionally damaging, carving, painting, or modifying the pumpkins unless specifically permitted

We are not responsible for damage, loss, theft, or deterioration resulting from customer handling, pets, guests, landscaping services, or other third parties after installation.

Liability Disclaimer

By booking services with The Porch Stylist, the customer acknowledges and agrees that seasonal decorations are placed with reasonable care and attention to safety. However, natural materials and outdoor displays may change in condition over time and may present potential risks.

The Porch Stylist shall not be held responsible for injuries, damages, or losses resulting from the placement, use, condition, deterioration, or natural characteristics of seasonal decorations, including but not limited to pumpkins, hay bales, cornstalks, mums, signage, gourds, and other seasonal décor.

Natural materials may attract pests, deteriorate, become wet or slippery, or otherwise create potential tripping or slipping hazards.

The customer is responsible for monitoring the condition of the display and maintaining a safe environment on their property after installation. The Porch Stylist is not responsible for incidents, injuries, or property damage occurring after the installation has been completed, except to the extent caused by our own negligence or as otherwise required by applicable law.

By using our services, the customer agrees to release The Porch Stylist, its employees, agents, and subcontractors from claims relating to the decorations or their placement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Photography & Marketing

By booking our services, the customer grants The Porch Stylist permission to photograph and use images of the completed seasonal display and the exterior of the customer's home or business for our website, social media, portfolio, advertising, and other marketing purposes.

Photos will be used anonymously and will not include the homeowner's name or address. Upon request, we will blur or otherwise obscure visible house numbers and other identifying address information.

No-Refund Policy

Due to the seasonal and perishable nature of pumpkins, flowers, hay, and other natural materials, all purchases are final and non-refundable once an order has been confirmed.

Materials are purchased and prepared specifically for each customer's design. Refunds will not be provided for changes of mind, weather conditions, natural deterioration, or normal variations in the appearance of seasonal materials.

If there is a significant issue with your installation or an item arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of installation so we can review the concern and determine an appropriate solution.
